Inside the Cultural Gala the one night a year every stream, every grade, and every discipline shares the same stage.
Once a year, the Innovation Lab's usual hum gives way to rehearsal schedules, and the courtyard fills with the sound of the choir practicing between classes. The Cultural Gala isn't run by any single department Science-stream students build the lighting rig, Humanities students write the program notes, and the Technical Track handles sound. It's the one event at Venus Star that belongs to the whole school at once, not one stream.
This year's gala drew the largest audience yet families traveled from as far as Yei to watch, and the evening closed with a performance students had been rehearsing since the start of Trimester 1.
